$GEN token is the native coin of the Battle Stakes - a first of its kind protocol where members of the network are only able to earn yield on their $GEN token while they are engaged in battle against one another. The battle plays out like the classic game of Chicken, where the first participant to act forfeits the game by doing so. In this case, that is un-staking the $GEN coin. The winner of the battle receives the yield that was earned by the participant that forfeited the battle. The yield is pre-determined by the users of the protocol before they engage in battle with one another.
